Lu Hpring is a singer-songwriter from Myanmar, known for her colorful vocal tone and heartfelt performances that resonate with audiences seeking emotional connection through music. Born on January 31, 2000, in Myitkyina and raised in Hpakant, Kachin State, she has grown into one of the most recognizable voices in Myanmar’s pop scene.

 

Lu Hpring first rose to national prominence as a standout contestant on the Myanmar Galaxy Star Program 2017, where her vocal prowess and stage charisma caught the attention of both local judges and Korean producers. Her performance of 2NE1’s “It Hurts” earned high praise from Minzy, a former member of the iconic K-pop group 2NE1. This led to her selection for the exclusive Galaxy Star Korea Camp, a pivotal moment in her artistic development.Following her appearance on Galaxy Star, Lu Hpring was invited to perform in the Grand Final stage as part of the special girl group “September.” She later joined JBJ Entertainment, releasing her debut digital single “Ma Ngo Buu” in December 2018.

 

Lu Hpring gained further recognition as part of the duo “BLUSH” under the BG18 label, continuing to build a passionate fanbase known as the “Butterflies.” Over time, she established herself as a solo artist, releasing a series of soft and romantic pop singles such as “Radio,” “Sorry Not Sorry,” “A Flower,” and “May 2021.” Her music is often described as healing and introspective.

What sets Lu Hpring apart is not just her voice, but the sincerity she brings to every performance. Blending warmth with subtle power, she has become an inspiring figure for a new generation of Burmese artists navigating both local and international stages.
